WHAT HAPPENED
Josh Sargent came off the bench to score a vital winner for Norwich City, securing a 1-0 victory over playoff rivals West Bromwich Albion Saturday.
His late heroics reignited the team's push for a playoff spot as the Canaries are now in 10th on the Championship table, cutting the gap to sixth-place West Brom to just five points.
The American striker's goal two minutes into stoppage time sent Carrow Road into a frenzy and fans serenaded their match-winner after the final whistle.

The American international has been in fine form for the Canary Road side as he has netted nine goals in his last 11 Championship games. That’s a run that stretches back to January 25 when Josh Sargent netted a brace in a 5-1 win over Swansea City.

With a dramatic win over West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City reignited their hopes of a playoff spot, although they do sit five points behind the Baggies, who are in sixth place.
